Blanche Lewis-Musgrave

It is with broken hearts that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother and grandmother, Blanche Lewis Musgrave on Feb. 2, 2013, in Sydney.
Born in Kitchener, Ont. on June 9, 1951, she was the eldest daughter of Mae Mollon and stepdaughter of the late Leslie Mollon.
Blanche worked for Heather Bowling Lanes in Sydney and also was employed by the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board for many years.
Blanche was an avid bowler and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Besides her mother, Mae, Blanche is survived by her husband, Ken Musgrave; her children, Jane MacDonald, Jason Lewis, Calgary, Tammy (Bradley Copan) Musgrave and Darrell Musgrave, her grandchildren, David and Ryan MacDonald and Kayla Copan, all of Sydney. Blanche is also survived by her sisters, Rose Marie (Harry) Campbell, Rosanne (Ken) Paruch, brothers, George (Barb) Mollon, Darrel (Lisa) Mollon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her stepfather, Leslie, Blanche was predeceased by her sister, Margie Dargel and her mother and father-in-law, Annie and Leonard Musgrave.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Archdeacon Brenda Drake officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association of N.S.
