PATTERSON, MARION - With heavy hearts, the family of Marion Olivia Patterson, announce her death, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, February 3, 2013. She was the wife of the late Albert Patterson of Hampton, NB. Marion was born in Armstrong’s Corner, NB, on October 19, 1928, the daughter of the late Austin and Orie (Allingham) Armstrong. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl Harris and her husband Brian of Kingston, NB, Lori Smythe and her husband Sean of Ottawa, ON; sons Carl Patterson and his wife Anne of Kingston, NB, Russell Patterson (Roxanne) of Hampton, NB; grandchildren Melanie, Matthew, Hannah, Connor, Matthew, Kirk, Christopher; several great grandchildren; brothers Harold Armstrong and his wife Beatrice of Roachville, NB, Winston Armstrong and his wife Jessie of Newtown; sisters in law Hilda Hamlton of Jemseg, NB, Gladys Merritt of BC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. She was predeceased by her daughter in law Ellen-Ann Patterson.
She is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Dr. Ron Vincent, will be held from Hampton United Church at 11:00 AM, on Friday, February 8, 2013. A Private family interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
