Lucretia Vida Kean Pear received her call to glory February 5, 2013; 90 years after being born in Hants Harbour, NL to Captain Job and Emma Kean. She arrived in Corner Brook at age 7 where she grew up, met and married John Owen Pear. They raised Maureen, Senora, Carl and Winston. Her passing has reunited her with Owen, Senora and Maureen. Her last days were spent being tended to by grand-daughter Karen Noseworthy and son Carl. She passed peacefully and quietly with dignity while Carl was at her side. Lucretia will be receiving guests and family at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on St. Marks Avenue in Corner Brook, Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. and again from 7-9 p.m. for final goodbyes. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Children’s Wish Foundation. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at The Salvation Army Citadel on Premier Drive in Corner Brook, NL with Major Raymond Janes officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
