GALARNEAU, FLORENCE - 1924 - 2013 - Florence Galarneau, 88, of Résidence du Marais, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Monday, February 4th, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Notre-Dame-de-la-Doré, QC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph-Michel and the late Lydia (née: Coulombe) Tremblay. Mrs. Galarneau was a member of Sainte-Thérèse parish. She is survived by one son, Bernard (Anne) Galarneau of Dieppe; one brother, Paulo (Edwidge) Tremblay of Val d’Or, QC; one daughter-in-law, Raymonde Marcoux of Dieppe; three grandchildren: Christian Joël, Sébastien and Cédric as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gabriel in 2003; two sisters: Yvonette and Roberte as well as two brothers: Paul-Émile and Michel.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday, February 7th, 2013, from 2 pm until the time of service which will be held from the chapel at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr.Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Palliative Care” would be appreciated by the family.
