Robert Fraser MacLean passed away at home on Saturday February 2, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late John and Mary ‘Sis’ MacLean.
Robert served 32 years in the Canadian Armed Forces; he spent his retirement doing woodworking and small projects and favours for his many friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife Edith. Children: Anne Marie (Julian), Cheryl (Esau), Linda (Dave), Heather (Jeff), Chris (Angela), Marilyn (Rob). Brothers and Sisters: Jack (Mitzie), Cecelia (Earl), Kenny, Marilyn and Adrian (Debbie). Grandchildren: Caitlin, Eric, Aaron, Michael, Danny, Shawn, Natasha, Cherilyn, Alicia, Ivan, Steven, Kathleen, Joram, Corey, Bethany and Spencer. Great grandchildren: Mary, Ava, William, MacLean, Jay, Tyler, Vayda, Izzie, Chayce, Josie and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Beside his parents he was predeceased by his twin sisters, grandchild Christopher and brother in law Lorenzo.
There will be a funeral mass on Saturday February 9th at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas Moore Church 15 Caledonia Road, Dartmouth. Followed by a celebration of life reception at 12 noon at the church.
