HICKSON: Alice Pulcheria (Paula) Hickson (nee; Fenske), age 72, of Swift Current, SK passed away January 31, 2013. At Alice's request there will be no formal service. Alice is survived by her sons, Paul Hickson of Nanaimo, BC, Roger (Tammy) Hickson of Penticton, BC, and Royce (Louise) Hickson of Carbon, AB; grandchildren Steven, Justin, Dylan and Stephanie; sister Mary Swicheniuk and brother-in-law Johnny Kucik. She was predeceased by her father George; mother Cecelia (nee: Gauthier); sisters Kay and Agnes; and brother Frank. Alice was born in Humboldt, SK on April 10, 1940. She attended school in Kelvington, SK. During her life she was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces where she held numerous positions within hospital services and the Corp. of Commissionaires. She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. In her spare time, Alice enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, and bird watching. Alice was also a die-hard Roughriders fan and loved Elvis Presley music. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends. Warren's Funeral home in care of arrangements.
