Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, June 6, 2008, of Stella M. Smith of Charlottetown, age 94 years. Stella is survived by her special niece - Patricia J. Bertram (Raymond), dear friend and sister-in-law Louise Smith; nieces - Elaine and Carla Smith; nephews - Jimmy, Wilfred and Kevin Smith; nieces and nephews - Ronnie, Bobby, Cathy, and Patricia Smith and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. She was predeceased by her parents - John and Theresa Smith; brothers - Jack, Bill and Patrick; sisters - Jean and Theresa (Tiss); niece - Theresa Smith and nephew Louis Smith. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Sunday, June 8 , 2008, 2 - 5 p.m. (only). Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 9 at St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
