LAMB, FREDERICK - With heavy hearts, the family of Frederick Reginald Lamb, announce his death, which occurred at his residence in Hampton, on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He was the husband of the late Ruby (McNeil) Lamb of Hampton, NB. Fred was born in Perry’s Point, NB, on January 23, 1924, the son of the late Percy and Mary (Clark) Lamb. He is survived by his daughters Rose Isenor and her husband Herb, Susan Noel and her husband Daniel both of Saint John, NB; grandchildren Melissa Desylva, Christopher Desylva, Ashley Lamb-Noel, Amber Lamb-Noel, Anthony Lamb; great grandchildren Dawson, Lita, Athena; brothers Percy, Donald; sisters Marina Lemon, Alma Erb, Helen Tayes; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife Edeltraut (Myer) Lamb; brother Willie and sister Marion. Fred had been a veteran for twenty five years, serving in World War II and the Korean War. A long standing member of the Hampton Legion Branch 28.
He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Rob Marsh, will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, on Monday, February 11, 2013. Interment will take place in the Spring.
