The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, of Amelia "Mae" Ann Beamish, Alberton, formerly of Toronto, aged 85, wife of the late Kenneth Beamish. Born in Toronto on Jan. 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James and Amelia (Smith) Hutson. Dear mother to Bev (Don) Murphy, O'Leary, and cherished grandmother to Matthew and Amy Murphy. "Mae" is also survived by her daughter-in-law Brenda Beamish and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, son David, brother Gordon Hutson and sister Olive Jobin. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with private family arrangements.
Interment will take place in Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto, at a later date. In lieu of flowers and in memory of "Mae", memorials to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. "Mae" loved to dance and had a big hug and smile for everyone.
