It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sadie Young of Mi,Kmaq native ancestary of Bay St. George announce her passing on Friday, February 8th, 2013 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Unit in her 95th year. Her siblings Jean (Leonard) Bosacki,of CA, Mercedes (Eric) Simmons of Stephenville Crossing, Ann Madore of Ontario and Lloyd. Also a large circle of neices, nephews, relatives and friends. Sadie was predeceased by her parents Delia & Thomas Young, husband Leo, son Maxwell, sisters Lillian and Doris, brothers Francis and David, brothers-in-law Bert McIssac and Howard Say, sisters-in-law Alva, and Marjorie, sons-in-law Dwight (Bud) Behan and Fred Cressey. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake Sunday from 7-9pm. Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday at 10:30am from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Monsg. Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road.
