Passed away suddenly February 9, 2013, Shirley Burt age 68 years. Predeceased by her parents: William (Bill) and Elsie Mercer; brothers: Graham and Billy Jr.; nephews: Barry and Bobby Mercer; grandson, Zackary Burt (Keith); and niece, Joanne Mercer. Left to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Paul; sons: Carl (Donna), Gary (Beverley), Keith (Thelma) and Scott (Dawn); grandchildren: Christopher, Megan and Nicole; Devon; John, Bryan and Andrea; and Mackenzie, Zackary, Jakeb and Declan; great-grandchildren: Jenna and Sophia: also leaving to mourn are many other relatives and a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 - 12 noon, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with cremation to follow as were her wishes.
