It is with great sadness that the family of the late NATHAN MURPHY of Parker’s Cove, NL, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the age of 18. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his Mother Lynette, Step-Father Ambrose, Father Todd & Wife Trish; Grandparents - Clayton & Elizabeth Murphy, Sandra & Gilbert Hodder & Step-Grandparents Lily & Ernest Abbott; Great-Grandmother – Carrie Matterface; Aunts: Jeanette (Shannon), Leslie, Donna (David), Krista (David); Uncles: Leon (Tracy), Jamie (Jennifer) & their families; Brothers: Joshua, CJ, & Claude; Girlfriend Heather Synard; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Great-Grandparents - Melinda & Pius Murphy; Great-Grandparents - Hubert & Elizabeth Pittman; Great-Grandfather - Hayward Matterface.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, February 4, 2013, at 2:00 pm. Interment followed at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Cemetery in Parker’s Cove. In Nathan’s memory donations may be made to the Murphy/Abbott Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
