Scott, Kathleen - 50, Bible Hill passed away peacefully January 24, 2010 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Annie (Petrowski) Miazga. Kathleen’s greatest love in life was her family, especially her husband and sons. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her friends and her door was always open to family, friends and neighbours. She was a great organizer and prominent fund raiser in her community. She was the strength of her family. She is survived by her husband, John Scott, Truro; sons, Spencer and Mitchel, both at home; sisters, Sonja (Glen) Fippance, Oakville, ON, Karen (Ted) Hewitt, Burlington, ON; brother, Walter (Brenda), Calgary Alta.; goddaughters, Vanessa and Avalon, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 27th from 6-7 pm with a memorial service from 7-8 pm with Rev. Glenn Ronson officiating and a time of fellowship will follow the service all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Interment will follow at a later date in Trafalgar Memorial Cemetery, Oakville, Ontario. Special thanks to Dr. Henderson and the Palliative Care Team at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
