SMITH, RICHARD ROYAL - 1942 - 2013 - Richard Royal Smith, 70, of Moncton passed away on February 12th, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital. Richard was born in Hillsborough on May 13th, 1942 the son of the late Robert and Nellie (Steeves) Smith. Richard served in the Army and spent time serving in Cyprus. He loved spending time outdoors and loved to fish, some would say he could get a fish out of a mud puddle, he was always lucky when fishing. May he rest in peace and be with his loved ones who have gone before him. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Linda Geldart (Pastor Leonard) of Hillsborough; brothers, Randall Smith (Margaret) of Riverview and Charles Smith of Moncton. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A family graveside service will take place in the spring where he will be laid to rest beside his mother in Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough.
