We, the family of the late Evangeline Ratchford have been overwhelmed by the sincere outpouring of support we received from so many of you after our Mother’s passing. We would like to acknowledge the following: the staff of Taigh Na Mara and Dr. Jamie Maclean, the care you bestowed upon our mother was exceptional. Our friends and relatives from near and far, so many of you traveled to New Waterford to help us say good-bye to Vange, we feel grateful to each and every one of you. Our former neighbours from Duggan Avenue, St. Joseph Street and Daley Road- It was heartwarming to see so many community members who touched our lives over the years. Kenny McGillvray and his staff for their kindness, compassion and professionalism. Rev. Duncan Roach and the Calvin Church Choir for the beautiful service. The ladies of the KOC who provided a wonderful lunch. So many of you who provided food and comfort or made a donation in Vange’s name, we appreciated every gesture. We feel truly blessed to have had so much support during our bereavement.
