SAMMS, Pearl Irene – 80, of Yarmouth, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Pearl was born on February 26, 1932 in Shelburne Co. She will be remembered as an animal lover, always enjoying the company of the cats in her household. She loved to go for drives, especially to Frenchy’s, and always enjoyed the company of others. She enjoyed watching old movies, particularly country and western movies. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by caregivers, Dorothy and Gary Newcombe. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth with a visitation from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, February 14 with prayers at 8 p.m.. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday in Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel in Yarmouth, Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiating. Interment followed in Saint Anne’s Parish Cemetery, Ste.
