SADIE MACINTYRE

We the family of Sadie MacIntyre wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who helped in any way to ease our loss: those who sent condolences by phone, mail, online, flowers, Mass cards and enrolments, braved cold weather to attend the visitation and funeral. Your presence was comforting. Our gratitude to Fr. Francis Cameron who administered the Sacrament of Healing in Mom’s last hours.
Thanks to those who sent food to our homes and volunteers who served at the church and Boisdale fire hall. We thank the clergy who concelebrated Mass: Frs. Allan MacMillan, Paul Abbass, Joe A. MacNeil, Francis Cameron and Peter MacLeod and to lectors Leonard O’Handley and Joe L. MacDonald who served as pallbearers along with Jimmy MacNeil, Gerald O’Handley, Kenny Boyd and Doug MacLean. Our gratitude to the choir for providing music for the liturgy and the soul-stirring Gaelic lament as we bid our last farewell.
Our appreciation to the Cape Breton Homemakers and caregivers at the Northside Guest Home who were her family when we couldn’t be there. You are special people who showed compassion and affection and she loved you all. To Doctors Elizabeth MacCormack who helped us in seeking answers, Cynthia Hobbes who guided us through her journey with Lewy body dementia and Peter Poulos we are indebted. To the staff of Chant’s Funeral Home thank you for your guidance and professionalism. God bless you all richly for your kindness.

Peggy, Dannie, and Michael
