Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2010, Hattie Tarrant of Harbour Grace, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband Bertram; parents Walter and Lucy Forsey; brother William; grandson Bert. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Joan (Rod) Nicholl, Clarenville and Rosemary Tarrant, Georgetown, ON; five sons: Walter (Patricia), Dildo, Rendall (Mary), Guelph, ON, Graham (Sharon) and Clyde (Judy), both of Milton, ON and Reg (Stella), Harbour Grace; eighteen grandchildren; a large number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister Eleanor Coulter, Dunnville, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 27 at 2 p.m. from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Hattie’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
