Passed peacefully away on December 5, 2012, in Victoria, B.C. Born in St. John’s, November 8, 1942 and left NL at a very early age to join the Armed Forces. He leaves to mourn his sister Lillian (Doug Hudson); his nieces: Kelly and Amanda, and Amanda’s daughter Sara; as well his cousins, aunts and uncle in NL. Sincere appreciation to Paul and May Chan from Victoria, B.C., who were steadfast in their friendship and caring for Roger throughout his time in Victoria, especially during his illness. He is predeceased by his father and mother, George and Ella Wight. Cremation has taken place at Roger’s wishes.
