Passed peacefully away on February 15, 2013 at the Agnes Pratt Home, Josephine Mercer age 72 years. Predeceased by her loving husband of 30 years, Gerald; her mother and father Mary and Stan Fleming; three brothers: Charlie, Stan and Jerome. Leaving with cherished memories her five loving children: son Douglas; daughters Elizabeth (Gary), Janet (Paul), Debbie and Dawn (Harold); sisters Margaret (Neil), Frances, Gertrude, Anne (Victor), Madonna and Theresa (Sam); brothers Martin (Donna), Tom (Barb), John (Judy) and David; four grandchildren Stephanie (Channing), Gregory (Leah), Rebecca and Cody; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Teresa’s Church on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Josephine’s memory may be made to the Lung Association.
