June 27, 1932 - February 13, 2013. Passed peacefully away at his home in Fermeuse, age 80 years, in the presence of his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Mary. Predeceased by his parents Frank & Gertrude O’Neill, brother Johnny, parents-in-law Edward & Mercedes Power and brother-in-law William Power. Fondly remembered by his eight children: Christine (Scott), St. John’s, Blanche (Paul), Portugal Cove South, Frank, St. John’s, Lisa (Lee), South Korea, Paula (Johnny), South Korea, Marissa, St. John’s, Mark (Ginette), Topsail, Holly (Len), Bell Island; six grandchildren: Liam, Ryan, Sarah, Maria, Matthew & Dain; sisters-in-law: Catherine (Ren), Ship Harbour and Stella (Gower), Fermeuse and 11 nieces and nephews. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of special friends and neighbours. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kevin Melvin for his many years of extraordinary care. As well as, Dr. M. Kassem of Ferryland and our home support worker, Diane Brophy of Fermeuse. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation in Bill’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
