
Gordon Hutchinson
HUTCHINSON, GORDON STUART - Gordon Stuart Hutchinson, 77, of Havelock passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Lower Ridge, he was a son of the late Rev. Stafford and Lottie (Alward) Hutchinson. Gordon retired as a truck driver having hauled for Cement Cartage for 36 years, a job he loved everyday especially chatting with his friends on the CB as Cannonball. He was a member of the Havelock Wesleyan Church, a Sunday School teacher and helped for many years with the Keith Family Reunions and also with the hall suppers. In later years he enjoyed researching his family genealogy and finding and befriending new relatives throughout the world. He is survived and missed by his beloved wife Sandra (Hodder); children Joann Thompson (Jim), Jack, George (Lynn), David (Norma) and Gail Maxwell (Arthur); step children Sheila Moss (Terry), Charlie and Sandy (Angela); brother Larry (Anna); grandchildren Shane, Scott, Joey, Jesse, Jillian, Shelby, Niki, Zack, Kristy and Thomas; three great grandchildren; four step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. Predeceased by first wife Alma (Carson) and infant son.
Due to the winter storm, arrangements are now as follows: Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home , 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday, February 18, 6 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Havelock Wesleyan Church Tuesday, February 19 at 2 p.m. Interment at the Havelock Wesleyan Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Havelock Wesleyan Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
