CORMIER, FRANCES L. - Frances Lorraine Cormier of Saint John passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 25, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (Connell) Bernard. Frances was blessed with both painting and story telling abilities, and always enjoyed singing. She is survived by her children, Catherine Elliott (Leslie Arden) of Cookstown, ON, Sandra Turnseck (Mark) of Newmarket, ON, and Roger Cormier (Michelle) of Brownsville, NY; grandchildren Elizabeth and Andrew Turnseck and Myshayla Cormier; a brother, Jack Bernard (Rhoda) of Geary; a sister, Donna Richard (Louis) of Saint John; a sister-in-law, Amelia Bernard of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Tommy and Herbie Bernard.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM. For those who wish remembrances to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
