BOURQUE, HENRY (HONORÉ) JOSEPH - The death of Mr. Henry (Honoré) Joseph Bourque of Moncton, NB, husband of Dorina (Vautour) Bourque of Saint John, NB and formerly of Rogersville, NB, occurred on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 82. Born in Rosaireville, NB, he was the son of the late Fidele and Emma (Bonnevie) Bourque. Henry worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway, was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Colombus Council #6770 and was a lead guitar player and played with various mini bands. Besides his wife, Dorina, Henry is survived by: four daughters: Melodie Bourque- Melanson of Saint John, NB; Roseanne Conley (Noel) of Grand Bay- Westfield, NB; Diane Bourque of Calgary, AB; Abby Bourque-Coyle (Michael) of Dieppe, NB; one son: Douglas (Janet) of Oxford, Maine; one sister: Alice Legere of Saint John, NB; one brother: Alyre of Dieppe, NB; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Henry is predeceased by: one brother: Joseph.
Please note: due to the weather, the Visitation and Funeral Mass was postponed. Visitation will now be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM from the Saint François de Sale Roman Catholic Church and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1 PM with Father Michel Mercier officiating. In Henry's memory, donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
