Willena 'Ena' Hutchins

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ena Hutchins, wife, mother and grandmother on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Cove Guest Home.
Born in North Lake Ainslie, she was the daughter of the late Murdock and Rachel (MacDermid) MacInnes.
Ena was a member of St. Marks Anglican Church, the Cove Auxiliary, the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Auxiliary and Business and Professional Women.
Ena retired as loans officer at the Royal Bank of Canada in 1985. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her husband Frank; daughters, Heather Lee (Art) Spencer, Sydney, Beverley (Gary) Maroun, Sydney, and Lorna Breton, Halifax; sister Kate MacLean, California; grandchildren, Steven, Amber and Amanda.
Ena was predeceased by a daughter Marjorie, a brother J.D., and a sister Myra MacQueen.
Visitation will take place Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Sydney Memorial Chapel from 2-5 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Dana Feltmate officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to the United Protestant Church of Sydney River.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Orchard Unit and Activity Staff at the Cove Guest Home.
