Funeral
The funeral for the late Hank Martin was held on Decenber 14, 2009 at St. Leonard's Parish, New Waterford, with Fr. Paul MacNeil (family friend) as celebrant. The funeral liturgy was planned and orchestrated by Hank's immediate family and close friends. The St. Leonard's choir under the direction of Lorette Campbell accompanied by Charlotte Jurcina provided beautiful music that filled the church. Hank was laid to rest with his two children that predeceased him in St. Agnes Cemetery. A reception followed the burial.

We, the family of the late Hank Martin wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who helped in any way during our recent grief. To Home Care and the VON we want to say thank you for the last two years. You made such a difference in our dad's quality of life. To Dr. Littlejohn, our father's friend and doctor, we want to share our gratitude for the care given to him. To the staff of AnCala, we offer our deepest appreciation for the wonderful work that you do. Our beloved Hank died with dignity and for that we are forever grateful. To those who participated in the funeral liturgy, we offer our thanks and appreciation. It was a very special celebration of our dad's life. To Basil and the staff of MacGillivrary's, words can not express our gratitude. To all who offered your love and support in any way (you know who you are) we offer our sincere thanks. We know the measure of your goodness and feel blessed by your friendships.
