LeBLANC, GEORGE - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George LeBlanc, 74 of Moncton, on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Clément and Mélindée (Melanson) LeBlanc. He is survived by his children; his brothers and sisters: Claudette Thibodeau (Roger), Doris, Henri (Dionne),and Bernie (Gisèle); several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Léona Léger; two sisters: Patsy and Diane; a brother, Raymond. George was retired from Canada Post and DSS in Shediac.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, February 22 at 1:30 pm. Visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of George, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Socierty would be appreciated. The LeBlanc family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at the Dumont Hospital.
