Joshua Carlyle Spence, 21 years of Oxford, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 surrounded by his family in QEII Health Sciences Centre, (Infirm Site), Halifax. Born in Amherst, he was a son of Carson and Wanda (Legere) Spence, Oxford.
Josh was a graduate of Oxford High School and was employed with Oxford Frozen Foods. He loved life and living it to the fullest, his tattoos, his dog and especially his family and friends.
Josh will be sadly missed by his sister Jennifer, Amherst; maternal grandmother, Pansy Legere, Oxford; several, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Austin Legere; paternal grandparents, Harold and Geraldine Spence.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water Street, Oxford, (902 447 2167). Visitation will be held 2 - 4 and 6 - 9, Friday, January 29, 2010 from the Church of the Nazarene, Oxford. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 30, 2010 from the Church of the Nazarene, Oxford, with The Reverend Bert Collins officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Josh's memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association or charity of choice, would be appreciated.
