CARROLL, MARJORIE - It is with sadness that the family of Marjorie I. Carroll announces her death on February 19, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Avonport, NS on December 26, 1923, she was the daughter of Archie and Annie May Bower. Marjorie enjoyed her days in the garden, and nights playing bingo or bowling with friends. She will be greatly missed by her children, Bruce (Paulette), Wendy and Mike (Marie); grandchildren, Carla, Tanya, Trevor, Frank, Shawn, Krista, and Robert; great grandchildren, Calix, Ashton and Torin; sister, Ruth Ross; brothers, Ralph and Morris Bower. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Blanchard; her parents, Archie and Annie May; brother, Victor Bower; and son in law, Barry Sansom.
Visitation for Marjorie will be held Sunday, February 24 at 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, February 25 at 2:00 pm with Canon Walter Williams officiating.
