LANDRY, MARIE - Marie Landry, 100, formerly of Résidence Notre-Dame and Churchill Street in Moncton, passed away on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born on August 16, 1912 in Richibuctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Johnson) Cormier. She is survived by one daughter: Alvetta LeBlanc (Donald) of Fitchburg, MA; one son, Emile Gallant (Louise) of Notre-Dame; five grandchildren: William “Billy”, Donna Ann, Bonnie, Linda and Diane; five great-grandchildren: Erica, Candice, Kristyn, Shawna and Jose; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Maxime Gallant; her second husband, Aurèle; six brothers: Richard, Théodore, Alphonse, Albert, Emerie and Léo.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral. A reception will follow at the centre. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
