Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, with his loving family by his side, of Patrick Joseph Buote of 299 Conroy Road, Tignish, age 83 years.
Born at Tignish on Feb. 22, 1930, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Nora E. (nee Doyle) Buote. He is survived by a daughter, Jasmine Doucette of Charlottetown. Loving brother to Florence Buote of Tignish and Irene Gaudette of Toronto, Ont. Cherished uncle to Dale Gaudette, Doug Gaudette, Duane Gaudette, Patrick Gaudette, Della Sweet, Dena Bernard, Melany Doherty and Jenny McGeachy. He is also survived by his 21 great-neices and nephews as well as his many cousins. He was predeceased by his nephew, Donald Gaudette, and by his brother-in-law, Edward Gaudette.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday morning, Feb. 25, 2013, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the family plot.
