It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lenora Gardner announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Friday, February 22nd, 2013 at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Shirley Mitchell (Randy), Corner Brook and Doreen Worden (Don), Brockville, ON; sons: Darryl (Jocelyn), Corner Brook and Wayne (Sandra), Halifax, NS; grandchildren: Sean Mitchell, Adam Gardner, Sarah Gardner, Hayley Gardner, Corner Brook, Hannah Scholz, McKenzie Gardner and Jacob Gardner, Halifax, NS; great-grandchildren: Reed Colbourne and Malachi; brothers: Robert Watton and Gordon Pike; sister Ivy Salyzyn, Corner Brook; her devoted and loving Personal Care Assistant Angela Payne, as well as a large circle of nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William (February 1, 2010); parents Hubert and Harriett Watton; sister Eileen; brothers: Lloyd, Melvin and Otto Watton. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd. on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. Michael’s & All Angels Anglican Church on Monday, February 25th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Roberta Woodman officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
