TRENTON – Karen Marie Pentz, 52, Trenton, passed away in the arms of her family on Sunday, February 24, 2013.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Mabel Marie (Pitts) (Pentz) Johnstone, Trenton.
She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Surviving are her son, Travis (Tanya) Pentz and their children, Jacob and Katie, Trenton; sisters, Patricia Robertson, Toronto; Angie Pentz, Terri Lynn (Pat) MacMullen, Trenton; brothers, Robert “Bob” (Elaine) Pentz, Trenton; Gary (Linda) Pentz, Stellarton; Peter (Darlene) Pentz, Westville; Mark (Wendy) Pentz, Sussex, N.B.; David “Illy” Pentz, Trenton; Paul (Deanne) Pentz, Westville; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brother, Raymond; step-father, Terry Johnstone.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Father Donald Boudreau presiding. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery at a later date.
Donations may be made in her memory to Pictou County Food Bank.
