April 17, 1958-June 27, 2008 “This part of my journey is now over. I will now rest.’’ It is with sadness I leave my best friend and husband, Gerard Murphy; my son, my rock, Matthew; and my wonderful dear daughter, Meghan. I love you with all my heart, as well as my family Bev Hobbs (mother), Jack Hobbs (father) (Ann), brothers, Paul and John. Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33-35 Longworth Ave., Charlottetown, until 9:45 on Monday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be held later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lori’s name may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Oncology Department.
