Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Palliative Care Unit, Prince Edward Home, on Monday, June 16, 2008, of Mr. Lawrence I. Driscoll of Charlottetown in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Shea) Driscoll and dear father of Boyd (Nancy), Krista, Corey (Tara), Shannon (Scott) Milligan, Stacy, Erin (Cory) Acorn, Colleen (Joe) Ryder. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Shawn, Scott, Christopher, Amy, Amanda, Shaena, Carly, Leah-Rae, Connor, Keegan, Drew, Devon; his mother, Marjorie Driscoll; mother-in-law, Patricia Shea; brothers and sisters, Desi (Judy), Ray (Barb), Joe (Kathy), Arlene Doiron, Adele (Edison) Shea, Myra (Bob) LeClair, Louise Egan; brothers-in-law, Cecil (Ruthie) Shea, Blair (Barb) Shea, Brian (Nola) Shea, Shawn (Joanne) Shea. Predeceased by his eldest son, Shane; father, Ivan; father-in-law, Edward Shea and his brother-in-law, Leo Egan. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Thursday morning then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centre or the Palliative Care Unit.
