Suddenly at Wellington Corner as the result of a highway accident on Saturday, June 14, 2008, of Andy Peter Gaudet of 351 Elm St., Summerside, age 28 years. Born December 3, 1979, he was the cherished son of Danny (Barb) Gaudet of Tignish and Bernadine (Terry Arnold) (nee Pitre) Gaudet of Middleton, N.S. Beloved brother to Adam of O'Leary; Allison, Audrey, Andrea and Courtney, all of Summerside; and Daniel of Tignish. Stepbrother to Ryan and Tyler Diziel of Alberton. He is also survived by his grandmother, Noreen Doucette of St. Louis, and by his step-grandmother, Delia Gaudet of Tignish. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph Pitre and Nelson and Esther Gaudet. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
