The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Monday, February 25, 2013, of Ethel MacLeod, RN, of Summerside, aged 104 years. Born in Park Corner, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Johanna (Stewart) MacLeod. Survived by her son Burnell (Dale) MacLeod, Summerside; daughter Joan (Ralph) Yeo, Halifax, NS; grand-children Ralph Yeo (Anita), Robin (Sam) Rankin, Tami (Gerald) Kendrick; and by great-grandchildren Austin, Madison and Cole. Predeceased by brothers Fred and Harold MacLeod; sister Florence Johnston; and by a granddaughter Crystal MacLeod. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will later take place in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Springbrook. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Wedgewood Manor Memorial Trust Fund would be appreciated.
