Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, in the presence of her loving family, Gladys Mae Sooley of Heart's Delight, aged 82 years. Predeceased by parents, Joshua and Martha Jackson; beloved husband, Vincent; daughter, Carol Ann; brother, Reginald and son-in-law, Don Reid. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories to celebrate her life with thanksgiving are her six children, daughters, Linda, Dale (Bill), Denise (Roger); sons, Reg (Wanda), Randy (Faye) and Rod (Trudy). Nan will be sadly missed by her eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Fred; sisters, Betty, Rona, Barb, Mabel, Mona as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Matthew's Church Hall, Heart's Delight-Islington, on Friday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from St. Matthew's Church, Heart's Delight on Saturday, March 2nd at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery.
