It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Lawrence Carberry announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Friday March 1, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Max will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters: Laura Kennedy and Glenda Carberry; 2 grandchildren: Tammy (Barry), Laurence (Tracy); Brothers: Fred (Rowena) Carberry, Ross (Audrey) Carberry, George (Marcella) Carberry, Frank Carberry; Sisters: Barbara (Don) Kavanagh, Frances (Al) Robbins, and Vera (Midge) Colson, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Sylvia (nee Beck); parents Martin and Pearl Carberry and Sister Jean Hillier. Visitation has taken place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday March 3rd from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. & will take place on Monday March 4th from 10 A.M. to noon, with the funeral to follow at 2 pm from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Janeway.
