Passed Peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on March 3, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Gordon (1968). Leaving to mourn sons: Lloyd (Alma), Paul; daughters: Dianne (David), Donna (Dennis) and Elaine (Greg); grandchildren: Gordon, Terry, Mark and Paul, Rachel, Alexandra; great-grandchildren: Noah and Luke as well as a large Circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Eliza’s memory may be made to the Arthritis Society. Cremation will take place following visitation with a funeral service to be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at The Parish of St. Mary the Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. Following the service the interment will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
