SHEPPARD, Pearl – Passed peacefully away at her residence on Friday, January 29, 2010, Pearl Sheppard, age 87 years. Predeceased by her parents: Freeman and Annie Sheppard; two daughters: Cavell Sheppard and Grace Sheppard; and granddaughter, Joanne Fry. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband , Nathan; son, Freeman (wife Dianne); daughter, Elizabeth Ann Fry (husband Nelson); two grandchildren: Scott Sheppard (Lisa) and Judy Affley (Doug); three great-grandchildren: Dillon, Nathan and Jaedon; one brother, Harvey Sheppard (Pearl); also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Saturday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, February 1, 2010, at 2 p.m. from The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
