It is with great sadness that the family of the late SARAH J. DOUGLAS of Fortune, NL, announces her passing at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home in Grand Bank, on February 21, 2013, at the age of 94. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Son – Tom (Jan) of Fortune; Daughters – Phyllis Blagdon of Grand Bank & Elizabeth Ann Remington (Michael) of Vernon, BC; Sister – Dinal Edmunds of Florida; 7 Grandchildren & 7 Great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband – Clyde Lou Douglas.

Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will take place at a date and time to be announced. In Sarah’s memory donations may be made to Fortune United Church. No flowers by request of the family.
