We, the children of the late Victor Pye, Sydney Mines would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our families, friends, neighbors and colleagues who supported us during this time. To everyone whose lovely acts of kindness have touched our hearts, a sincere thank you. The kind words, deeds, visits, especially those who travelled long distances, emails, cards, memorial donations, gifts of food, flowers and hugs, meant so much to all of us. Our sincere appreciation to Rev. Nick Phillips, Manning Jobes, J.M. Jobes Funeral Home and the Royal Canadian Legion, Sydney Mines Branch for the fitting tribute and support. To the staff and volunteers of the An Cala Palliative Care Unit, thank you; you exemplified professionalism and are truly very special people. To those who have supported us and lifted us up, you know who you are and we are forever grateful. And a very special thanks to our Mom whose grace, courage, support and love embraced each and every one of us and made us feel very, very loved.
