Theresa 'Terry' (Smith) Campbell

It is with profound sadness the family of Theresa ‘Terry’ Anne (Smith) Campbell, daughter of the late Perino (Pordena) Smith and Ida Belle (Petrie) Smith, announces her passing on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax. Terry passed away after a courageous four-month battle with brain cancer.
Terry’s kind and gentle ways and enthusiasm for life was an inspiration to everyone who had the pleasure to know her. She will be remembered as an amazing mother, grandmother, loving sister and the greatest aunt ever!
Terry is survived by her fiancé, Tom Harris; daughter, Lori Ann (Brad) Hickey; son, Jason (Audrey) Campbell; grandchildren, Sophia, Lucas, James and Jenna. Her sisters, Patricia (Charles) Fry, Diane (James) Cuff, Angelina Mallory, and Viola (Bennie) Bartlett and brother, Gino (Karen) Spinazzola. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Terry was also predeceased by her husband, James Murdoch Campbell, brother-in-law, Fred Mallory and sister, Elizabeth Smith.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Funeral mass will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Daniel Church on Alexandra Street with Fr. Donald MacGillivray officiating. A family only interment will follow at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens after the ceremony.
