Lawrence "Larry" Bennett
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lawrence “Larry” Bennett announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Anna and six sons: Nigel (Leah) of Stephenville Crossing, Jason (Lisa) of Toronto, Rodney (Nicole) of Toronto, Keith of Stephenville Crossing, John (Melissa) of Moncton, New Brunswick, Mark (Sherry) of Alberta, four daughters: Audrey (Keith) Legge of Stephenville Crossing, Laura Nardini of Lourdes, Sharon (Mike) Zernia of Ontario, Desiree Bennett of Toronto, three brothers: Lester (Laura) Bennett of Stephenville Crossing, Benjamin Bennett of Stephenville Crossing, Jimmy Bennett of Alberta, three sisters: Delia (Samuel) King of St. George’s, Marina (Keith) Butt of Alberta, Linda (Dave) Jesso of Alberta, 28 grand- children, 11 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Genevieve Bennett and his grandson, Kyle Nardini. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, March 6th and 7-9 p.m. with cremation to follow. Funeral service will take place on Friday, March 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society of NL would be greatly appreciated.
