December 4, 1955 - February 26, 2013
Born in Fairview AB, Ash moved to Sechelt at age 37 when he retired from being a funeral director.
An avid traveller, gardener and all around handyman, Ash was quiet but always made an impact on the people he came across.
Recently returning to the workforce as a certified Health Care Assistant, Ash continued to touch people’s lives and help them through their adversities with dignity and his caring ways.
A special thanks to so many including Shelby, Lonnie, Janice and Ron, Wanda, Cindy and Larry, Rhonda, Jennifer, Herman and Willie, the staff at Sechelt Medical Associates, nurses Patrina, Tracy, Jill and Leslie from Palliative Home Support as well as the Sunshine Coast Hospice Society.
A special thank you to Dr. Bella Hughan and her family for all their time, and for riding in Ash’s honour this June in the Ride to Conquer Cancer.

The dash (-) between a birth date and a death date is so tiny but truly defines who we are as people. Ash’s dash was HUGE and touched so many in such a loving and caring way throughout his entire life.
