Born February 14, 1920, she died peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on March 4, 2013, surrounded by her family. It’s fitting that Patricia was born on Valentine’s Day as she carried a huge heart within her tiny frame. Her beautiful smile melted the hearts of all who met her. She spent much of her life helping others, particularly through her 35-year membership in the Catholic Women’s League. Predeceased by her parents: Bridget (nee Pendergast) and Michael O’Reilly; husband, Frederick; brothers: Bill and Jack; sisters: Mary and Marguerite. She will always be adored and dearly missed by her daughter, Sheila (Chris Samson); son, Danny (Cathie French) and grandchildren: Sam, Caroline, Michael, Kate and Ben; also left with loving memories are her brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Gabe O’Reilly; special niece Theresa Walsh, and many other family members and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4p.m. and 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
