Passed away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, March 3, 2013, Roy Bennett of Terra Nova, formerly of Brooklyn, aged 72 years. Predeceased by parents Marjorie and John. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Irene; sons Jim (Kathy), Derrick (Olive) and Scott (Cathy); daughter Michelle (Kerry); step-sons Roy (Patricia) and Lloyd (Gillian); step-daughters Shirley (John), Sandra, Irene (Mike) and Susan (Andrew); 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister Bernice (Gerald) and Lilly; brother Maurice (Adela); and a large circle of family and friends. A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge with interment to take place in Terra Nova at a later date.
