It is with great sadness that the family of the late WILLIAM J. FARRELL of Little Bay, NL, announces his passing at his sister’s home in Little Bay after a short illness on Thursday, February 28, at the age of 91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons - Brendan (Anne) of Marystown, Rick (Terri) of Beau Bois & Father Roy of Scarborough, ON; Daughter - Diane of Little Bay; Sister – Laura Farrell of Little Bay; Brothers - Aloysius, Jim & Dan of Little Bay; 3 Grandchildren: Genny (Ryan), Billy (Casandra) & Kevin; 1 Great-grandchild - Liam; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Wife - Melinda (2004); Sons - John Fintan & Fintan Gerard; Parents – James J. Farrell & Mary E. Farrell; Brothers - Richard, Hughie, Frank and John Patrick; Sister – Mary.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Monday, March 4, at 10:00 am. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, in Little Bay. In William’s memory donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
