Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on June 17, 2008, of Viola MacKinnon (nee MacCormack) of St. Peters Bay, aged 78 years. Beloved wife of Glendon MacKinnon. Dear mother of Halbert (Debbie), Billy (Cathy), Linda (Gary) Bradley, Sheila (Mike) Cameron. Loving sister of Kenneth (Beatrice), Evelyn (Hazen) Dyck, Ida Miller, Sadie (Steve) Labchuck, Lillian (Joe) Melanson, Eleanor (Francis) Chaisson, Isabel (Andy) Jauch and Doreen (Pius) MacPhee. Sister-in-law of Irene MacCormack, Henrietta (Angus) Morrison, Mary Poole, Dorothy (Russell) Dockendorff, Murdock Blaxland, Loving Nanny to Shelly (Michael) Curran, Kimmie MacKinnon, Darren (Patti) Gallant, Jennifer (Andy Handrahan) MacDonald, Richard (Jenn Palmer) Bradley, Ernestine Bradley, Kate MacKinnon and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son Jake, parents James and Olive MacCormack, brothers Joe, Elmer, Peter, Bernard and sisters Helen (Lionel) Daigle, Mae MacCormack, Sister-in-law Cora Blaxland, brothers-in-law George Miller, William and Lloyd MacKinnon, Ralph MacKinnon and Milton Poole. Resting at the Dr. Roddie Community Centre for visiting hours on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held from the St. Peters Bay United Church Friday afternoon with funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Midgell Cemetery.
